Established in 1979, Mayflower Greenhouse was taken over by John Kress and Chris Beno in 2011. Mayflower Greenhouse has enjoyed a long tradition of offering unusual annuals and perennials you can't find anywhere else. Before John and Chris took over, Jan Wos, a wonderfully talented and charismatic man, opened up many customers to creative expression with distinctive planted containers and the high quality you've come to expect from Mayflower Greenhouse. We fully intend to continue that tradition.
To get a feel for the plants offered, check out the extensive Plant List where you can select plants by color, sun exposure and more.
Mayflower employs terrific American plant designers and European horticulturists, as well. We freely share our love of container gardening at workshops throughout the year. We host a variety of classes, including cooking classes with some of the area's premier chefs. See the Calendar page of the site, and perhaps you'll register for a class.
We travel around the world to discover the finest pots, accessories and antiques for your garden. The Pots 'N Stuff area shows you samples, including containers planted with great combinations of colors and textures of plants.
Under Gallery you'll see hundreds of plant photographs. For gardening tips and coupons, be sure to visit the Subscribe page to sign up for our free newsletter. Signing up for the newsletter also helps you get into many classes for free.
Inside and outside, Mayflower Greenhouse holds surprises, just waiting for you!
