Best Wishes and Success to You in 2010,

Jan Wos with Wooden ShoeHoliday greetings to all our valued friends and customers. As we looked forward to 2009, I think we all collectively held our breath in hopes that the worst of the economic turmoil was behind us. Thanks to you all, our customers, supportive friends and staff, we made it through unscathed and optimistic.

End of the First Decade of the New Century

Cacti at HortifairThis holiday season marks the end of the first decade of the new century. Already we've seen momentous changes and we can certainly look forward to more as this century progresses. Of one thing we're confident: the beauty and utility of plants and gardens will continue to provide joy and repose in an uncertain world. The Mayflower management and staff looks forward to sharing the enjoyment of gardening as we move ahead. We're looking forward to serving you in the next year, the next decade as new plants and new concepts come to our industry.

Making Friends Instead of Just "Making Change"

Red Roses at Hortifair ShowIt was our great pleasure to see you at the greenhouse this past year. We hope the experience was as rewarding for you as it was for us. It was also wonderful spending time with many of you at our workshops, lectures and social events - making friends instead of just "making change" at the cash register. Your friendship is truly as important as your patronage.

We Hope to Serve You Again in 2010

Colorful Flowers in FramePreparations are already underway for spring 2010. The photos in this newsletter come from the October 2009 Hortifair show in Amsterdam. Huge Bouquet of Pink RosesWe continue to look for inspiration around the world, and we're excited about the year ahead. It is our sincere hope that the renewal and well being that flowers and gardens represent are yours through this holiday season and the year ahead. We hope that we will have the honor and privilege of serving you again in the upcoming season.

All the best to you and your family,
Jan Wos and the staff at Mayflower Greenhouse.
